  • DNA Speedometers Inc. has been in business since March 26, 2001. Our founder has been repairing speedometers since 1948 when speedometers were all cable-driven.

  • Most of our work usually takes us same day or next day. When the work involves repairs on digital or all electronic instruments, it may take up to 5 days. In any case, we will let us you know as we proceed with the repairs. We like to keep our customers posted on our progress.

  • We suggest you do not drive or move your car without the instrument cluster in it. Air bag system may need to be reprogrammed, alternator may not charge the battery, and you may even get a speeding ticket not knowing how fast you are traveling. If you decide to drive the car without the speedometer, you solely are responsible for your actions.

  • All of our work is guaranteed. If we cannot fix the unit, we will let you know and there will be no charge except return shipping. If we fix the unit, we warranty all of our repairs for ONE YEAR.

    WARRANTY INFORMATION

    DNA Speedometer’s One Year Warranty covers all the parts and labor utilized in returning your unit to its original operating state. In the case that the same issue continues after repairs, DNA Speedometers will require the return of the cluster for warranty. If DNA Speedometers Inc. determines the issue is beyond repair, we will either offer a replacement unit, or refund the entire purchase price. Should issues arise in the future that are not associated with the previous repair, even after the warranty, DNA Speedometers Inc. will offer its services at a discounted price.

    The One Year Warranty begins at invoice completion date. Make sure to keep the invoice or copy assigned with the repair for warranty purposes. Factors that can void the Warranty include those that are out of our control such as abuse, improper use of jumper cables, reverse polarity, physical damage, fluid intrusion, and improper instrument cluster installations.

    DNA Speedometers promises that every unit worked on, rebuilt or replaced, will leave the shop thoroughly bench tested and in working condition. Any remaining issues may require that the vehicle that belongs to the unit be seen by us or any qualified automotive technician.

  • We accept payment by phone using Mastercard or Visa. After the repairs have been made and the unit is ready to ship, we will call the customer for payment and provide a tracking number if requested.

  • Actually, we receive deliveries daily from most of the major shippers (U.S. Postal Service, UPS, Airborne, FedEX, DHL). So select the one that is most convenient for you!

  • By law and specified by the Department of Motor Vehicles, we absolutely cannot, under any circumstance, set the miles back on any odometer.

  • Yes! Let us know when you would like to be seen so that we can check if we have that time is available. A lot of work is done mobile for dealers or repair shops.
