In plain language: you send us your contact details and a description of your instrument cluster problem, we use them to quote the repair, do the work and ship your unit back to you. We do not sell your information and we do not track you for advertising.
DNA Speedometers Inc. is an independent instrument cluster repair shop at 3910 West Alva Street, Tampa, FL 33614. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.speedometerrepairservices.com or send us a repair quote request, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website and to the messages you send us by phone, text or email.
We only collect information you choose to send us. There is no account to create on this site, and we do not ask for payment card numbers anywhere on the page.
We share your information only with the services needed to reply to you, do the repair and ship your unit back: our email provider, our shipping carriers (for example USPS, UPS or FedEx), and our payment processors when you pay us a card, PayPal or Zelle.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, such as in response to a valid subpoena or to investigate fraud connected with a repair.
This site is a small business website. It does not place advertising or cross site tracking cookies, does not build behavioural advertising profiles, and does not sell browsing data. Basic server records such as the page requested and a rough country of origin may be kept briefly for security and capacity reasons. If we ever add analytics or a chat widget, this section will be updated before it goes live.
If you give us a phone number and say it is fine for us to call, we may call or text you about your quote or your repair. Texts come from the shop phone, so reply to the message or call us and we will stop texting you.
The emails we send are about your quote, your unit or a warranty claim — not marketing. If you would rather not hear from us, reply to any email or call the shop and we will take you off our list. We will still contact you about a unit already in our shop or a repair you have paid for.
Quote requests that turn into no work are kept for a short period so we can answer a follow up. Records of completed repairs — the unit, the work performed, the customer and the warranty period — are kept for the length of the warranty and afterwards as our business record, so we can honour a claim. Photos and attachments are deleted on request unless they are needed for an open warranty or legal matter.
The site is served over HTTPS, the quote form is checked for automated spam before it is accepted, and the submitted details go to a limited number of staff mailboxes rather than a public list. We do not store payment card numbers on this website. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending anything you would not want a business to hold, such as a full card number or a Social Security number.
Where the law gives you these rights, you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, receive a copy of it, correct it, or delete it. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and, where a task was done with your consent, withdraw that consent at any time.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, so no “Do Not Sell or Share” opt out is needed — you can still ask us not to contact you for marketing.
Requests about your data are free and we will answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the email address or phone number you used with us first so we do not disclose your details to someone else.
This site is intended for adults arranging vehicle repair. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
When we change this page we update the date at the top of it. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or by email to customers with an open repair.
